ASUFIN se incorpora a la prestigiosa ONG Finance Watch<\/a> para contribuir a la defensa de los usuarios europeos<\/h3>\n

En julio de 2009, un grupo de afectados por derivados financieros fund\u00f3 ASUFIN con el claro objetivo de cambiar la cultura bancaria de nuestro pa\u00eds. Apenas un a\u00f1o despu\u00e9s, en el verano de 2010, un grupo transversal de diputados europeos respondi\u00f3 a las peticiones de la sociedad civil y lanzaron una llamada a la acci\u00f3n \u201cCall for a finance watch<\/a>\u201c, una decisi\u00f3n que poco despu\u00e9s les llevar\u00eda a la fundaci\u00f3n de Finance Watch, una asociaci\u00f3n sin \u00e1nimo de lucro de \u00e1mbito internacional.<\/p>\n

ASUFIN lleva a\u00f1os trabajando con otras organizaciones europeas, asociaciones y sociedad civil<\/a>, principalmente en la defensa de los afectados por hipotecas en divisas. Efectivamente, a pesar de las diferencias ling\u00fc\u00edsticas o culturales, los usuarios financieros europeos han sufrido los mismos abusos bancarios. Por ello, en 2015, Patricia Su\u00e1rez, presidenta de ASUFIN, puso en marcha de una red europea (FX Loans<\/a>) para debatir soluciones, compartir avances y publicar documentos \u00fatiles para la defensa de los afectados.<\/p>\n

La incorporaci\u00f3n de ASUFIN en Finance Watch<\/a> es un paso m\u00e1s en la defensa de los usuarios financieros en Europa y en el mundo. Conscientes de la fortaleza del lobby de la industria financiera y las dificultades de la sociedad civil para hacer valer sus derechos, es necesaria una organizaci\u00f3n seria y solvente que trabaje para combatir este desequilibrio.<\/p>\n

ASUFIN joins the prestigious NGO Finance Watch<\/a> to contribute to the defense of European financial users<\/strong><\/p>\n

In July 2009, a group of affected by financial derivatives founded ASUFIN with the clear objective of changing the banking culture of our country. Just one year later, in the summer of 2010, a cross-section of European deputies responded to civil society requests and launched a call to action \u201cCall for a finance watch<\/u>\u201c,, a decision that would soon take them to the foundation of Finance Watch, a non-profit association of international scope.<\/p>\n

ASUFIN has spent years working with other European organizations, associations and civil society<\/a>, mainly in the defense of those affected by foreign currencies loans (FX Loans). Indeed, despite linguistic or cultural differences, European financial users have suffered the same banking abuses. That\u2019s why in 2015, Patricia Su\u00e1rez, president of ASUFIN, launched a European network (FX Loans) to discuss solutions, share progress and publish useful documents for the defense of those affected.<\/p>\n

The incorporation of ASUFIN in Finance Watch<\/a> is another step in the defense of financial users in Europe and in the world. Aware of the strength of the financial industry lobby and the difficulties of civil society to assert their rights, a serious and solvent organization is needed to work to combat this imbalance.<\/p>\n
